Local residents and motorists will notice temporary night road closures in place during August as work progresses on the Richlands to Springfield Project.
To enable progress to continue, several temporary night road closures around the Logan Motorway Interchange will occur throughout this month, between 8 pm and 5 am (weather and site conditions permitting).
Roads affected by these closures include the Centenary Highway northbound, the Logan Motorway eastbound off-ramp to Springfield and Springfield Greenbank Arterial Road. Chief Project Delivery Officer Kevin Wright said that during these works, detour routes would be in place to direct motorists, as well as traffic control and signage.
“These temporary night road closures will allow works to be safely undertaken at several key sites on the Richlands to Springfield project,” Mr Wright said.
