The 2012 Daegu International Opera Festival will take place from October 12th to November 10th at the Daegu Opera House and other major theaters in Daegu.
During the festival period, 13 troupes from 11 countries will stage magnificent performances, including Korean opera ‘Cheongna Hill’, classic operas ‘Don Giovanni’ and ‘Carmen’, marionette show ‘Mozart and the Magic Flute’, and ‘The Flying Dutchman (Der Fliegende Hollader)’ in its original language. The festival will also present a concert of soprano Shin Younok and an outdoor concert.
