The 10th Guangzhou International Hospitality Equipment & Supplies Fair, one of the grand travel shows in China was held from June 28-30, 2012 at China Import and Export Fair Complex. This annual show was an ideal podium where eminent travel professionals from the region and other part of the world got together and displayed their latest products and innovations.
The exhibition area which spanned over 63,000 square meters was widespread across 6 halls of China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex was 26% more as compared to the 2011 edition. HOSFAIR 2012 also saw a significant increase in the number of overseas participants. A record number of 51,088 trade professionals from 70 countries/regions visited HOSFAIR 2012 which included 6,388 overseas visitors. With 10% of the exhibitors coming from overseas reinstates the fact that Asia remains an important market with great potential for further growth in coming years. Nearly 1,308 exhibitors from hospitality industry unveiled their best and latest products and services at HOSFAIR 2012. As compared to HOSFAIR 2011, this year the exhibition has notably seen an increase of visitors by 23%.
This year the visitors who attended the fair was mainly came from China mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and The United States, Canada, France, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Australia, Argentina, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, India, Japan, South Korea, Iran, UAE, Mexico, Italy, Spain, UK, Germany, Greece, Slovenia, Ukraine, Russia, Poland.
HOSFAIR 2012 was much more than just a travel exhibition. Concurrent fairs such as coffee fair, clean fair, kitchenware fair along with other competitions and forums kept the show sizzling for 3-days.
