CEB flights 88% full leading to long weekend

Cebu Pacific Air announced its flights are 88% full on October 30 and 31, 2012 leading to the four-day weekend, as travelers take advantage of the holidays to visit family and friends or go on leisure trips abroad.

In anticipation of the peak travel period and long queues at the airport, CEB encourages passengers to go to the airport at least three hours before their flight, or to check-in online up to four hours before any Airbus flight through www.cebupacificair.com.

“Guests who check in online can cut down time spent in queues, from the usual 5-7 minutes in a regular check-in counter to only 1-3 minutes, depending on whether they have check-in luggage. We hope this added service will provide added convenience to our guests,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

Those without check-in luggage can also proceed to CEB’s Express Counters. Guests are also reminded that CEB check-in counters close 45 minutes before the scheduled time of departure. Boarding also begins 30 minutes before the flight.

“Those who still haven’t booked their flights can consider Cebu, cities in Mindanao, Seoul, Busan, Siem Reap, Kota Kinabalu, Brunei and Bangkok where we still have available seats,” Iyog said.

She also suggested that those still planning their vacations can consider traveling on holiday dates like November 1 or 2, when most travelers stay at home.
