Discover Trisara Phuket: A Jewel of Eco-Luxury and Marine Conservation
Experience Trisara Phuket, a luxurious eco-resort dedicated to marine conservation and sustainable tourism.

Situated along the stunning northwestern coast of Phuket, Trisara Phuket serves as the flagship property of Montara Hospitality Group, pioneering a new era of luxury that intertwines elegance with eco-consciousness. Over the past decade, Trisara has established itself as a leader in ecological hospitality, proudly hosting various wildlife conservation initiatives. This ethos was recently celebrated at the 17th Mai Khao Marine Turtle Release event, recognizing the resort’s significant contributions to enhancing the biodiversity of the Andaman region.

The Thai government’s Department of Marine and Coastal Resources honored Trisara with an appreciation certificate, acknowledging their unwavering efforts in preserving Thailand’s rich marine ecosystems. Trisara’s Chief Experience Officer, Panjama Leamsuwan, received the esteemed ‘Rak Talay Ying Cheep’ (Saving the Sea) medal, a testament to the resort’s leadership in ecological preservation and marine stewardship. The resort’s existence showcases a successful blend of upscale tourism and environmental protection, establishing a sanctuary where nature and luxury coexist harmoniously.

Launching the Marine Discovery Centre

Anticipation is building for the opening of Trisara’s Marine Discovery Centre, set to debut in 2027. This new facility aims to bridge the gap between high-end hospitality and environmental education, enriching the guest experience with the wonders of the local ecosystem. Visitors will engage with interactive exhibits showcasing the diverse flora and fauna of Phuket, making conservation a vital component of their stay. The engagement with education will help foster a deeper appreciation for the natural beauty of Thailand’s coastline.

The Marine Discovery Centre will offer workshops and guided activities tailored to immerse guests in the intricate ecosystems surrounding Phuket. The complex relationships within the Andaman Sea’s reefs and seagrass meadows will be explored through hands-on learning experiences led by experts. By serving as the cornerstone for sustainable tourism in Southeast Asia, this centre will ensure that guests not only enjoy the stunning beauty of Phuket but also understand their role in protecting it.

Protectors of Mai Khao’s Sea Turtles

Trisara has been a champion for the local sea turtle populations, formalizing their commitment through the Mai Khao Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Declaration since 2016. Thanks to these efforts, 449 hatchlings have successfully returned to the Andaman Sea. The resort’s picturesque beachfront has become a vital nesting site, evidenced by the nesting of two green turtles since 2018, leading to eight successful nests. This emergence of turtle life signifies the healthy condition of the beachfront and its importance as a vital habitat.

To promote sustainable nesting and ensure the safety of turtles, Trisara emphasizes maintaining optimal conditions on its 1,400-metre private coastline. Scientific management of sand quality, light pollution, and physical obstructions encourages mother turtles to return for nesting in future years, reinforcing the beach’s role as a critical part of the regional biological corridor.

From Coral to Canopy: Nature Discovery Program

In 2024, Trisara introduced the ‘Nature Discovery: Coral to Canopy’ program, enhancing guest engagement with the local environment. This initiative showcases curated experiences led by Trisara’s dedicated sustainability team, including beach walks every Monday and Thursday. These explorations offer enlightening discussions on local wildlife, the importance of coral ecosystems, and the rich history of the landscape, all through the lens of storytelling.

Spanning 14 hectares of protected forest, Trisara’s name—meaning “The Garden in the Third Heaven” in Sanskrit—truly reflects its natural grandeur. Guests can revel in both the breathtaking views of the Andaman Sea and the vibrant biodiversity that flourishes within the property’s expansive grounds.

Luxurious Accommodations and Holistic Wellbeing

Trisara encompasses 39 sophisticated pool villas and suites, ranging from 1,453 to 3,229 square feet. For families or larger groups, options include 25 private residential villas, some offering up to ten bedrooms and 86,607 square feet of space, all boasting views of the magnificent ocean. Each accommodation is designed to align with the site’s natural contours, ensuring guests experience seamless indoor-outdoor living.

Wellness is integral to the Trisara experience, offering guests yoga and Thai boxing classes, as well as water activities such as windsurfing and snorkeling. For an added touch of sustainability, the resort organizes farm visits, showcasing its commitment to sustainable dining practices defined by the Montara Hospitality Group, a family-owned entity that emphasizes ethical luxury since its establishment in 2004.

The Visionary Future of Tri Vananda

Montara Hospitality Group is set to unveil Tri Vananda in Northern Phuket, a groundbreaking residential community built on holistic wellness principles. A major collaboration with Clinique La Prairie, the renowned Swiss luxury wellness clinic, will integrate top-tier health services within the luxury lifestyle community. Featuring the ‘Health Resort by Clinique La Prairie at Tri Vananda’ with 40 health-focused villas and 30 private residences, this development represents the next evolution in luxury travel. It’s a new frontier where individual health and planetary wellbeing coexist, creating an enriching experience for travelers seeking both rest and revitalization.
