Instead of forfeiting their assigned seats throughout the flight, passengers can enhance their journey with the Skynest as an optional add-on experience. Travelers can purchase a four-hour time block to indulge in the pod experience during their journey, maintaining their assigned seat for takeoff, landing, and the remainder of the flight.
Since bookings opened in May 2026 for travel commencing in December 2026, the starting price is approximately NZD $495 (around USD $292) for a four-hour session—approximately $125 per hour. Passengers may choose their preferred time slots when making their reservations, with an anticipated maximum of two session blocks available per flight.
