The Indian government is set to enhance temple tourism in Andhra Pradesh by developing key pilgrimage sites under the Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Heritage Augmentation Drive, commonly referred to as the PRASHAD scheme. Union Civil Aviation Minister K. Ram Mohan Naidu recently visited the renowned Kanipakam Varasiddhi Vinayaka Swamy Temple in Chittoor district, where he underlined the need to bolster infrastructure to improve visitor experiences and broaden access to spiritual tourism across this culturally rich state.
