The redesigned Terminal 2 is engineered to facilitate smoother passenger flow while alleviating congestion in Terminal 1, which currently manages the bulk of international traffic. As part of a gradual transition, fifteen airlines servicing regional routes have started relocating their check-in operations to the new terminal, with additional moves expected through June 2026.
