Aldona MLA raises issue of topless tourist in Goa Assembly

Aldona MLA Carlos Ferreira put up a matter in Goa Assembly and said that Goa does not require such ‘riff- raff’ travelers since such awkward acts by these folks will force ‘quality tourists’ to drift.


A supposed viral video displayed a topless woman driving a car on a well-known street of Goa attracting anger from the opposition of the coastal state.


Carlos Ferreira said that he saw a video where a woman is seen driving topless on the celebrated Parra Road, where travelers halt to capture photos. He questioned that whether they want these types of tourists. He stressed the fact that they should not permit such insensible acts by tourists. Ferreira said that they require quality tourism and not rowdy tourists. He said that if they let in tourists like these, quality tourists will be missing.
