The ceremony included the presence of key officials such as Thiru. S. Ramasubbu (Advisor – Electrical), Thiru. Gopinath Mallaya (Chief Advisor – Operations & Maintenance), and Thiru. A.R. Rajendran (Chief General Manager – Rolling Stock). Notably, representatives from technology partners Faiveley Transport Rail Technologies India Pvt Ltd and Alstom Transport India Limited were also in attendance, underscoring the collaborative effort behind this pioneering initiative.

This event highlighted CMRL’s unwavering commitment to enhancing passenger safety, operational efficiency, and international cooperation. By integrating modern safety technologies, Chennai Metro is ensuring safer travel experiences for all demographics, particularly women and the elderly, who may be more susceptible to door-related incidents.
