
Spain has officially launched a significant reconstruction initiative targeting the busiest suburban rail corridor in the nation—the C-5 commuter line in Madrid. This ambitious infrastructure project marks a pivotal moment in public transport development within Spain’s capital, spearheaded by the Spanish Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility in collaboration with key entities like the Administrador de Infraestructuras Ferroviarias (ADIF) and Renfe Operadora.
