Having held senior leadership positions at globally esteemed brands such as The Ritz-Carlton, Bulgari Hotels & Resorts, EDITION, W Hotels, Rosewood, and Urban Resort Concepts, Clavell possesses a diverse portfolio that spans different brand philosophies—from classic luxury to contemporary lifestyle hospitality. This experience equips him with the knowledge to enhance operational precision and brand positioning at Aman.

Prior to his role as COO, Clavell served as the Chief Executive Officer of Urban Resort Concepts in Hong Kong, where he played an instrumental role in transforming The PuLi Group into a formidable player in global luxury markets. His leadership was pivotal in expanding the brand’s footprint across diverse sectors, ranging from hospitality to residential developments, while placing a strong emphasis on enriching brand identity and enhancing guest engagement.

He also held the position of Senior Vice President and Managing Director for the Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Caribbean regions at Rosewood Hotel Group.
