Vaid’s prior experience includes significant time at Accor, where he achieved notable successes, including overseeing the successful transformation of Novotel Brighton Beach into an upscale property within the MGallery Luxury Collection. His capable management led to the launch of the celebrated Greek restaurant, Ammos, and the strategic planning of hospitality venues that form part of a larger integrated resort development. Known for his aptitude in managing complex, multi-property portfolios, Vaid is set to reinforce TFE’s commitment to operational excellence.
In South Australia, Nicole Richards is stepping in as the new General Manager of Adina Adelaide Treasury, effective mid-June. Previously, she led Mount Lofty House & Estate and earned it commendable recognition, including the esteemed AHA SA Overall Hotel of the Year award three years in a row. Her leadership also resulted in the estate receiving TripAdvisor’s title of the number one Luxury Hotel in Australia and the South Pacific in 2025. With her sharp commercial acumen and operational expertise, Richards is poised to drive significant performance improvements at Adina Adelaide Treasury.
On the New Zealand front, TFE Hotels has welcomed back Melissa Gosselin as the Cluster General Manager for both Adina CityLife Wellington and Travelodge Hotel Wellington. Gosselin brings a treasure trove of trans-Tasman hospitality experience, having initially joined TFE Hotels in 2017 as hotel manager at Adina Perth Barrack Plaza before relocating to New Zealand in 2019. Her most recent roles include General Manager at The Edgewater Resort & Spa in Rarotonga and General Manager of Quest Apartment Hotels Wellington. Gosselin is recognized for her focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence, and her return is expected to strengthen TFE’s foothold in the New Zealand market.
Additionally, Rick Lee has joined as the Hotel Manager at Adina Heritage Christchurch. With extensive experience navigating complex hotel environments and managing brand transitions, Lee has held key positions in various boutique and branded hotel operations. His earlier roles at Accor-managed properties such as Breakfree on Cashel, Hotel 21C, and The Wigram Hotel have equipped him with the insights necessary for facilitating change and improving performance at Adina Heritage Christchurch.
