Travelers are exhibiting a marked shift towards sustainable practices, with 48% opting to travel during off-peak periods to help mitigate congestion. This reflects a wider willingness to adopt responsible tourism measures while seeking out experiences that are environmentally and community-focused. Agoda’s findings indicate that travelers are eager for easily accessible and bookable sustainable options as part of their travel plans.

Agoda’s Eco Deals Program Fuels Responsible Tourism Impact

Agoda is actively channeling interest in responsible travel into tangible actions through its Eco Deals program, developed in partnership with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). This initiative allows travelers to support vital conservation projects while taking advantage of discounted stays. Agoda has pledged US$1.5 million toward WWF projects across ten Asian markets, offering travelers up to 15% savings until December 18, while also donating $1 to WWF for each completed booking at participating properties.
