TTF in Kolkata organizes roadshow for Rajasthan tourism

Bali has better prospect to lure travellers in health and sports tourism

Erick Thohir, the State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Minister said that Bali has a better prospect to entice
travelers in health and sports tourism from the time when the province will be buoyed by amenities
established by the administration and the private segment.


Thohir said that apart from health tourism, they can also present sports tourism.

This is a combined
determination to shape Bali implemented by the government, regional government along with private
sectors.


As per the SOEs minister, the Indonesian government is creating a health Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in
Sanur, Denpasar that consists of an amalgamation concerning healthcare facility and tourism.


The area is now confirming global standard hospital amenities and energizing the Inna Grand Bali Beach
hotel which is handled by state-run hotel chain PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (HIN).

Vietnam PM stresses Bắc Kạn’s focus on forest economy and tourism

Tourism levy for all overseas tourists to Bali

The Governor of Bali Koster has said that he will be initiating a tourism charge for all foreign tourists
coming to the island.


This plan has been thought about for months, and was finally established by the Governor in Denpasar on 12th July. 


Governor Koster has said that he and his local administration have submitted the Draft Regional
Regulation regarding charges for overseas travelers to the Bali DPRD.


The draft regulation is a sequence of jurisdictive alterations that will let Bali impose a tourism levy that
will offer reserves for safeguarding Balinese values and the atmosphere. 


The draft rules have been submitted and need to be officially signed off before they can be applied.


It appears that tourism levy will be in effect in 2024; however, there is a prospect that the jurisdictive alterations could be accelerated and implemented quicker than that. 


The charge of IDR 150,000 would be applied for every global tourist coming to Bali. Governor Koster said that the charge will be applicable in Indonesian Rupiah for staying sincere to global exchange charges.

In 3 Australian cities, Sri Lanka promotes tourism

Sri Lanka has already started discussions with Australia in terms of direct flight services from Perth to the Sri Lankan capital with an intension to perk up Sri Lankan tourism in Australia.


The Sri Lanka tourism minister, Harin Fernando, informed a news agency that talks were organized on the sidelines of the first level of Sri Lanka Tourism Roadshow that was introduced this week in Perth, Australia.


Harin Fernando, the tourism minister, Sri Lanka opened the roadshow together with the tourism ambassador of Sri Lanka, Sanath Jayasuriya, Rosh Jalagge, the honorary consul of Sri Lanka for Western Australia, and Chalaka Gajabahu, the chairman of the Sri Lanka tourism promotion bureau.


On the sidelines of the roadshow arranged for the audiences who were targeted, talks were also organized with the Deputy Premier, Australia, Rita Saffioti.


Minister Harin Fernando explained that the first round of talks happened with Rita Saffioti in terms of direct flight launch from Perth to Colombo.


The discussions happened after an event organized for the experts of the industry, like travel agents and community in Sri Lanka in Western Australia on encouraging Sri Lanka as the best tourist destination.


Minister Fernando explained that strong discussions on organizing an impressive roadshow in 2024.
